Home Master TMAFC-ERP Review
We’ve had an RO system in our home for the last three years since I discovered the absolute necessity of having clean water.
Recently I’ve come to learn more; it isn’t enough to have just an RO system, but it also must meet certain criteria to ensure that the water you are getting is the best. So I went out to search for another system that I could install.
I wanted my new system to be a definite upgrade on my last one, but also not cost a lot. That meant that anything above $ 500 was a no.
I did spend some time looking around, but I finally landed on this particular system from Home Master. I read about its features and took one look at the price, and I made up my mind.
The permeate pump is one of the first things that caught my eye. It is built into the system and is entirely nonelectric, so you don’t have to worry about it consuming electricity.
It works to ensure that the pump is as efficient as can be. Water wastage which is an unavoidable issue with other systems I know of is totally taken care of here. This pump also improves water production. The situation is clearly a win for both sides.
One of the problems with my previous system was the nakedness of the water produced as all minerals were stripped off. Here that is no longer a problem. Twice during the purification process, calcium and magnesium minerals are added to improve the taste of water and also make if healthier.
This system is designed such that all flaws found in other systems are taken care of here. It is clearly a symbol of perfect engineering. Hours and hours were spent to make sure that common problems that plague RO systems are no longer problems.
Such issues as canister filters, housing leaks, slow filter rate, high water waste, service challenges, and the production of slightly acidic water are solved.
Unlike other systems the Home Master has in place a filter system that is modular. Filters are independent which means that when you want to change one part, no other part is affected.
Also, the filters are long lasting going up to 1 year without needing change, and the replacement process is itself very simple. The superiority of the filters reflects the quality of my drinking water.
The unit comes with an unbelievable five-year warranty. This is better than anything I’ve ever known, and I don’t worry about repair costs anymore. In addition to this, their customer service is also excellent, and their instruction manual is easy to read and has diagrams as well for easy installation.
- Adds minerals to the water to improve taste
- Reduces water waste by its permeate pump
- Can be installed under the sink so doesn’t consume a lot of space
- Faster flows rate due to the innovative design of components
- Features seven stages of filtration for extra pure water
- The system is good value for money but still it costs a lot more than others in the market.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is the permeate upgrade kit expensive?
A: The permeate upgrade kit is reasonably priced. So not cheap but also not terribly expensive.
Q: Does this system filter out fluoride and chlorine?
A: Chlorine is filtered out in the pre-filtration stage, and fluorides are taken out by the main filter?
Q: Is it an easy job to install the system?
A: Extremely easy. On your own it should take less than an hour, and you need no outside help.
In my opinion, despite the quite hefty price tag, this is the system to beat in the market. It is worth absolutely every penny and will serve you for years without any regrets.
The addition of calcium and magnesium to improve taste and reduce acidity was a stroke of genius as was the idea to introduce a permeate pump. As ever this is another great product from Home Master and I would highly recommend that anyone buy it.
